Certificate That Holds Emotions

An internship that begins with credentials and ends with perspective.

You might look at this internship and see what most people see fixed working hours, some experience in content writing, and something that adds value to your profile. And honestly, you wouldn't be wrong. That's how it appears at first. Structured. Practical. Useful.

Working with this community will give you exposure, learning, and experiences that you may not find elsewhere. It will add credibility to your profile and help you build skills that matter.

But somewhere along the way, something shifts. Not because of big achievements or milestones—but because of the small, unnoticed moments. The kind you don't expect to matter, but they do.

A conversation. A class in progress. Someone showing up, consistently. And slowly, you begin to see something more. Because what you gain here is not just experience but also perspective. It's the feeling of being part of something meaningful. It is the kind of journey that stays with you long after internship ends.

And that is what makes this internship different.

You don't always realize it immediately.

It happens gradually in the way you start noticing things you would have otherwise ignored.

A student trying to understand something patiently.

A volunteer explaining the same concept again, without frustration.

And somewhere in between, you stop seeing this as just work.

The Credentials

The Globally Recognized Badge

Let's start with something practical because that's what we usually look for first.

Pehchaan The Street School was recently awarded the Gold Credential Leader Badge by Sertifier—a globally recognized platform that certifies organizations able to demonstrate clear, structured, and measurable impact. On paper, this is significant. It reflects credibility. It signals trust. It represents scale and consistency.

Not every organization earns this recognition, most don't. So yes, when you complete your internship here, your certificate carries weight. It connects to something verified, something acknowledged on a global platform, not just another document with a stamp.

But here's where things begin to change. Because once you spend time here once you see the work up close the badge starts to feel… smaller.

Not unimportant. Just not the most important thing anymore. Because what stands out isn't the recognition. It's the people, the intent, the work that continues even when no one is watching.

And slowly, your focus shifts. From the value of the certificate to the value of the experience behind it. But over time, that question changes.

You start thinking less about what you are receiving
and more about what you are becoming a part of.

And that shift is difficult to capture in a certificate, but impossible to ignore once you feel it.

The Organization

11 Years of Dedication

If you want to stay consistent, you need to believe in what you're doing.

For over eleven years, this organization has been running free education centres across Delhi NCR—Indraprastha Metro Station, GTB Nagar, Mukherjee Nagar, Noida Sector 35, Sunder Nursery, Rohini, Dilshad Garden, and many more.

What started as a small initiative has grown into something much bigger something that has quietly shaped thousands of lives.

And now, this journey reaches a meaningful milestone. Eleven years.

Not just of existence but of showing up. Again, and again. Without pause. To celebrate this journey, the organization brings together its volunteers, supporters, and community not just for an event, but for reflection. It Is not a mere celebration, it's the reflection of every volunteer who showed up, every child taught.

  • A day filled with stories, laughter, and shared purpose
  • Food and moments together
  • Appreciation for every contributor
Because this journey was never just about numbers. It was always about people.

Because numbers don't show consistency.

They don't show the weekends when people still showed up.

They don't show the effort that continued even when it wasn't easy.

What they do show is the result. But what truly matters is everything that led to it.

Small Numbers, Big Wins

CBSE Class 10 Results

Sometimes, impact doesn't look like headlines. Sometimes, it looks like a percentage on a marksheet and the journey behind it.

Pushkar Kumar

61%

Gaurav

67%

Priya

84.71%

At first glance, these are just numbers. But behind each number is something more. There are hours of studying in limited conditions. Moments of confusion. Effort that goes unseen.

There are days when showing up is difficult. Days when understanding takes longer. Days when giving up feels easier.

And yet they continued. Because here, success is not defined by perfection. It is defined by progress.

In many places, education comes with structure, resources, and stability. But for others, it requires adapting, adjusting, and making the most of what is available. And that is what makes these achievements stand out. They are not just results. They are proof that with the right support, consistency, and belief that change is possible. They come from repeated effort.

From showing up even when progress feels slow.

And sometimes, from believing in yourself a little more because someone else believed in you first.

That's the part we don't always see. But that's the part that makes all the difference.

Opening Doors Through Digital Learning

The Noida Centre Initiative

At the Noida Centre, something simple but powerful has begun.

Pehchaan The Street School has set up 12 computers and started regular classes, giving students their first real interaction with digital learning. For many, this is not just about learning a skill. It's about stepping into a world they hadn't accessed before.

There's curiosity in the way they approach the screen. A hesitation at first. Then interest. And slowly confidence.

In today's world, digital literacy is no longer optional. It shapes how we learn, work, and grow. And yet, access to this world is still not equal. That's what makes this initiative important. It starts small - a computer, a lesson, a moment of curiosity. But over time, it builds something bigger.

ConfidenceAwarenessPossibility

Because sometimes, change doesn't begin with something big. It begins with access.

It begins with access—and the confidence to explore it.

The first click.

The first mistake.

The first moment something finally makes sense.

And slowly, what once felt unfamiliar starts to feel possible. That's how learning grows not instantly, but steadily.

Youth in Action: Creating Impact Together

A Collaboration with Girl Up Raabta (India)

Some days feel different from the moment they begin and this was one of them.

Pehchaan The Street School collaborated with Girl Up Raabta (India), a youth-led group supported by the Global Fund for Children. But this wasn't just a collaboration, it was something you could feel.

The team visited the Kamla Nagar Centre with simple materials—papers, ribbons, ideas. What followed was a bookmark-making workshop. Simple in concept. Meaningful in experience.

Around 100 students participated.

Curiosity starts to build, followed by hesitation then involvement.

Slowly, hands started moving, turning simple materials into something of their own.

There was laughter in between the steps. Small conversations. Moments of pride. The room didn't feel like a classroom anymore. It felt lighter, more open, more alive.

And that's where the real impact was. Because in that moment, it wasn't about the activity anymore.

It was about expression. About being comfortable enough to try.

And maybe even fail without hesitation.

That kind of space is rare. And when it exists, it stays with you.

The Fact Nobody Mentions

THE REAL DEAL

Now let's discuss the numbers.

let me put this straight to the point; to run such big organization you need funds. Because right now, only a small part of what is needed is being sustained through volunteering and support. The rest still depends on people choosing to step in. Not in a big, overwhelming way, But in small, consistent ways.

This work continues only when someone decides it should. And maybe, that someone can be you. And if contributing financially isn't something you can do right now, there are other ways to be part of this. You can show up. You can volunteer your time. You can become an intern and experience this journey from within.

Because impact like this doesn't grow on its own.

It continues because people decide that it should.

Not always in big ways but in small, consistent ones that add up over time. And sometimes, being part of that is simpler than we think.

You Are Allowed to Want Both

A certificate that is globally recognized.

And work that actually means something.

The mistake is thinking you have to choose.

Pehchaan The Street School is one of the rare places where both exist together—and where the second one stays with you longer.

The internship is open.

The centres are running.

The students are showing up every weekend.

The only question is — Will you?

Because opportunities like this don't just offer experience — they offer perspective. And while certificates may stay on paper, it's the experience behind them that stays with you.
